Hospitals Reach Agreement With Empire; Oxford Still Uncertain
Southampton Hospital and Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport reached a contract agreement with Empire Blue Cross on Wednesday, May 14, ensuring users will be covered at the hospital through August of 2009. Negotiations continue with Oxford Health insurance, whose contract with Southampton Hospital expires on June 6.
